First of Many - Melon Fest!
Nothing makes me happier than serving the community. I’ve had the privilege of being a part of magical weddings, colorful birthdays, exciting office parties, and so much more through my baking.
One thing i’ve been working on is being able to come to you! I’ve been in communication with several event coordinators and businesses, looking for events where we can share our sweet creations with the world! The first one of these events will be the annual Melon Fest, held by the local celebrity Melon man.
Melon Fest is quite the fun experience. There are vendors, raffles, and of course - watermelon! We are happy to finally announce this as our first event, where we will hold a booth. We will have five flavors of our delicious cheesecake, and cannot WAIT for you to stop by and try it.
More about the event: There will be free watermelon to those who were able to get a ticket. For those who missed the tickets, the event is still free to attend! It will be at the Oasis Fresh Market in Tulsa, OK. It will be from 12pm to 3pm. Stop by and enjoy the event! If you feel like eating something sweet, there will be watermelon and cheesecake for you to endulge on.
I’ll see you at Melon Fest!

Get a Taste of your Big Day.
We had a blast with our most recent wedding cake tasting! We got to experiment with berry compote, lemon curd, and berry cream fillings on lemon and vanilla cakes. Our clients helped create their wedding experience and left knowing that their future cake will taste as good as it looks!
We hold our complementary tastings because we know your wedding needs to be made for you. No matter who you go to for your wedding cake, I recommend you consider a cake tasting. You can learn what flavors and designs best vibe with you and your fiance!
Others will hold events, which is always a fun time! You can speak with other couples and compare notes. We do it differently; it’s just you and your loved one (and me periodically peeking in excitedly). If this is something you want to do, even if you haven’t decided on a wedding cake creator yet, please let me know.
Also, if you have any other questions about wedding cakes, please reach out. I am so happy to help.

I Now Pronounce You, Wedding Cake & Cheesecake!
Every wedding we work is just a bit different and magical in its own way.
When I learned the future bride and groom wanted both a wedding cake and accompanying cheesecake, I was excited beyond belief! They asked for a Mexican vanilla flavored naked cake. They also wanted some type of cheesecake, and we talked about the best pairing. After we decided on Strawberry cheesecake, I thought -
“what’s cuter than a strawberry cheesecake?” “Duh, MINI STRAWBERRY CHEESECAKES!”
And then the planning began. I began looking into the best ingredients, and soon after we started baking. We went with fresh strawberry halves to go on both the cake and cheesecakes. The following days were full of mixing, baking, soaking, stacking, icing, and cheesecake-ing. We drove to the venue, and enjoyed the beautiful scenery before watching the ceremony.
It doesn’t matter how many weddings I work, seeing two people in love sharing their vows is always my favorite thing ever. After the ceremony, Michael, our intern and myself start planning the cake cutting and laying out cheesecakes. By the time we deliver the first batch of cakes and cheesecakes, the serving table is empty. What a great problem to have!
Before leaving, we got to speak with the newlyweds and sample their charcuterie board. The patrons seemed to have loved our cakes, and I remembered why we offer full wedding cake services; nothing beats the feeling when you’re involved with such a special moment. Anyways, enjoy these photos!

Keeping It In The Family
Oh what a magical day! My brother and his lovely other half had asked me to bake their wedding cake and be part of their most special day. On one of the first chilly days of January, he said he wouldn’t mind if his wedding gift was a cake. To me that was such an honor (and a relief) and I had to say yes!
I asked what their favorite flavors were and I went to work! I spent a few weeks brainstorming about what I should do, and how I should decorate it.
Should I use Swiss or Italian buttercream?
What type of chocolate should I use?
What would give it the special umph?
I made a plan and got to work. The week of was baking, soaking cake, making my decorating ingredients and making the cake one-of-a-kind. They both love chocolate, so I went full chocolate. They have friends that don’t eat gluten? Easy, I make a mean gluten free chocolate cake.
On the day of the wedding, Michael and I got the cake boxed up and headed for the road. It was only a two and a half hour drive with precious cargo in the back - but the cake made it there safe! I added some finishing touches to the exterior, and made it to the sanctuary just in time to see my baby brother and newest sister share their first kiss as husband and wife.
Every wedding cake I am part of receives special attention, with the aim being to treat it like a family member’s cake. When it’s someone you grew up with though - that’s a different type of emotional. Take a look at the finished product! If you have any cake questions about your upcoming wedding, reach out to me. If you don’t want to send a website inquiry, just message me on the company Instagram and we will be so happy to help.

We Are Whisky Business.
Hi Tulsa, we are ecstatic to announce that a new bakery is coming to town!
Whisky Business is an idea we’ve been planning for a few years now. We are a team of two, with occasional seasonal help. Our favorite things to bake are cakes, but we can do a ton of things for any event you may have! Here’s some info about us:
Sierra is the mastermind genius behind the business. She came up with the idea, wanting to give the community a special flavor with her creations. Sierra graduated from a culinary college in Oklahoma and studied the pastry arts. She can bake anything from delicious cookies to the most technical plated desserts. Her passion for baking has quickly spread, giving us the chance to share our sweets with a larger part of the community every day.!
Michael is the other half of Whisky Business. He graduated with a Master’s from a business school, and runs the back end of the company. He reaches out to business and vendors to ensure we can connect with the community as much as possible. While he did not learn the pastry arts, he is quickly learning to bake various desserts and create even more smiles in Tulsa!
One thing we will never do is just treat you like a customer. We want to connect with as many people as possible, sharing our desserts and learning more about the lovely people we have the privilege to serve. If you see us anywhere, come say hi! We’d be so happy to meet someone new.
